A Reader which is meant to be used across multiple reload cycles.

This reader is already buffered, don’t wrap it in a BufReader, or else you will lose bytes on reloads.

Returns this Reader (and its bytes) to be retrieved later on.

Note that if the PersistentChild was already killed, this won’t do anything.
