Why a GBM-backed source could not be built.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Allocate(GbmError)

Opening the GBM device, allocating, or exporting the buffer failed.

Import(ExternalError)

The allocation succeeded but could not be imported as a framebuffer.

MultiPlanar

The driver returned a multi-planar allocation.

Refused rather than importing the first plane and calling it the buffer, which would scan out one channel of a planar YUV frame as if it were the whole image.
