A snapshot of a layer’s property state, for diffing against the last commit.

Trivially copyable, as in the C++: copying is a memcpy.

This snapshot with one property replaced.

For a value the commit wrote in place of the layer’s own: the stacked zpos, which the next frame’s diff has to compare against what went out rather than what was asked for.
