What can go wrong reading input.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
Keymap
The keymap did not compile.
A layout that is not installed, a variant that does not exist, an option xkb does not know. xkb reports the detail through its own log, not through a return value, so there is nothing more to pass on here.
Config(&'static str)
The configuration cannot work.
Timer(Error)
A timer could not be created or read.
Seat(String)
libinput could not enumerate the seat through udev, opening it or
after a resume. Carries the seat’s name, or resume.
Not “no such seat”: libinput accepts a seat name udev does not know and simply finds no devices on it.
Dispatch(Error)
libinput could not read its devices.
Io
A keymap file could not be read.
