DumbError

Enum DumbError

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum DumbError { InvalidConfig { reason: &'static str, }, UnsupportedFormat { fourcc: u32, }, TooLarge { what: &'static str, }, Io(Errno), }
Expand description

Errors from dumb-buffer allocation and framebuffer registration.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

InvalidConfig

Zero or out-of-range dimensions, a zero format or bpp, or a FourCC the drm crate does not recognize. errc::invalid_argument.

Fields

§reason: &'static str

What was wrong.

§

UnsupportedFormat

The FourCC is not one Buffer::create_planar recognizes. errc::not_supported.

Callers can fall back to Buffer::create for single-plane formats.

Fields

§fourcc: u32

The requested FourCC.

§

TooLarge

A size computation would not fit the kernel’s 32-bit field. errc::value_too_large.

Fields

§what: &'static str

Which computation overflowed.

§

Io(Errno)

An ioctl or mmap failed.
