Why no output could be found.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
NothingConnected
Nothing is plugged in, or nothing plugged in advertises a mode.
The connector a caller asked for is not connected, advertises no mode, or does not exist.
Distinct from ScanoutError::NothingConnected: other outputs may be
up, and driving one of them instead is exactly what pinning a
connector is meant to rule out.
NoCrtc
A display is attached but no CRTC can drive it.
None of its encoders lists a CRTC it can drive, or none of them could be read. Whether a CRTC is already driving another output is not checked, here or in the reference.
NoPrimaryPlane
A CRTC was found but has no primary plane.
Almost always means DRM_CLIENT_CAP_UNIVERSAL_PLANES was never set,
which hides primary and cursor planes from the client.
