The display’s HDR static metadata block.
One field per flag in the CTA block, rather than a bitflags type: this is a transcription of a wire format, and a reader checking it against the standard should find the standard’s field names.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.desired_content_max_luminance: f32Peak luminance the display wants content mastered to, in nits.
desired_content_max_frame_avg_luminance: f32Desired frame-average peak, in nits.
desired_content_min_luminance: f32Desired black level, in nits.
type1: boolStatic metadata type 1 is supported.
traditional_sdr: boolTraditional SDR gamma.
traditional_hdr: boolTraditional HDR gamma.
pq: boolSMPTE ST 2084 — HDR10.
hlg: boolHybrid Log-Gamma.
