Struct Fonts

Source
pub struct Fonts { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

The registered font faces: by alias, several weights per alias.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Fonts

Source

pub fn register(&mut self, alias: &str)

Names an alias before its file is there. The first alias named is the default font.

Source

pub fn add(&mut self, alias: &str, bytes: &[u8]) -> bool

Adds a font from file bytes under an alias at the regular weight (registering the alias if it is new).

Source

pub fn add_weight(&mut self, alias: &str, weight: i32, bytes: &[u8]) -> bool

Adds a face of an alias at a weight (100..900): FontWeight and bold pick the nearest registered weight (DrawnUI fonts.AddFont(source, alias, weight)).

Source

pub fn default_alias(&self) -> Option<&str>

The alias an empty family stands for: the first one registered.

Source

pub fn typeface(&self, family: &str) -> Option<&Typeface>

The typeface of a family at the regular weight; an unknown or empty family gives the default font.

Source

pub fn resolve(&self, family: &str, weight: i32) -> Option<(&Typeface, i32)>

The face of a family nearest to weight (0 = regular) and the weight it has. An unknown or empty family gives the default font.

Source

pub fn font(&self, family: &str, size: f32) -> Option<Font>

A font for the family (or the default) at a size in pixels, regular and upright.

Source

pub fn font_for( &self, family: &str, weight: i32, italic: bool, size: f32, ) -> Option<Font>

A font at a weight (0 = regular) and slant, size in pixels. A weight of 600 or more on a lighter face is emboldened; italic without an italic face is a skew, as DrawnUi.React.

Source

pub fn match_character(&self, c: char) -> Option<Typeface>

A system face with a glyph for c, for text no registered font can draw (C# SkiaFontManager.MatchCharacter); none on the web, which has no system fonts. Cached per character.

impl<T> Downcast for T
where T: Any,

Source§

fn into_any(self: Box<T>) -> Box<dyn Any>

Convert Box<dyn Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Box<dyn Any>. Box<dyn Any> can then be further downcast into Box<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn into_any_rc(self: Rc<T>) -> Rc<dyn Any>

Convert Rc<Trait> (where Trait: Downcast) to Rc<Any>. Rc<Any> can then be further downcast into Rc<ConcreteType> where ConcreteType implements Trait.
Source§

fn as_any(&self) -> &(dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &Any’s vtable from &Trait’s.
Source§

fn as_any_mut(&mut self) -> &mut (dyn Any + 'static)

Convert &mut Trait (where Trait: Downcast) to &Any. This is needed since Rust cannot generate &mut Any’s vtable from &mut Trait’s.
