Personal data related to a marked field, held in an erasable record outside the passport.

Carries the basis and the record’s identifier, and nothing about the person. The controller’s own evidence of the basis, such as its record of a consent, is deliberately not referenced here: the controller keeps that evidence after the data is erased, so a pointer to it in a signed passport would keep relating the passport to the person.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.

lawful_basis: LawfulBasis

The GDPR Art. 6(1) ground the record is held on.

The record holding the data.
