Registration

Struct Registration

Source
pub struct Registration<'timer, 'd> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

An owning, starvation-safe timer registration.

The registration keeps the timer ticket linear and falls back to the driver’s intrusive deadline queue when all fixed timer slots are busy. Consequently timer capacity is a performance bound, never a correctness bound.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<'timer, 'd> Registration<'timer, 'd>

Source

pub fn new(timer: &'timer Timer<'d>) -> Self

Source

pub fn with_deadline(timer: &'timer Timer<'d>, deadline: Instant) -> Self

Source

pub fn is_armed(self: Pin<&Self>) -> bool

Source

pub fn arm(self: Pin<&Self>, deadline: Instant, wake: CompletionWaker<'d>)

Source

pub fn poll( self: Pin<&Self>, now: Instant, wake: CompletionWaker<'d>, ) -> Poll<()>

Source

pub fn cancel(self: Pin<&Self>) -> bool

fn pin_drop(self: Pin<&mut Self>)

🔬This is a nightly-only experimental API. (pin_ergonomics)
Execute the destructor for this type, but different to Drop::drop, it requires self to be pinned. Read more
