Which image references a conversion may resolve (#646), ordered: each tier includes the ones before it.

Variants

None

Resolve nothing — every picture stays a placeholder (the default).

Embedded

data: URIs and parts of the same container (EPUB entries, MHTML parts, email cid: attachments). No filesystem or network access.

Local

Embedded, plus files under the source file’s directory (never an absolute path, never outside that directory).

Remote

Local, plus remote http(s) fetches (optionally host-restricted).
