Katex

Embedded KaTeX via quick-js. Output matches rehype-katex byte for byte. Slow per-expression (1-5 ms each).

Mathml

pulldown-latex -> MathML. Fast (microseconds). Browser MathML rendering is functional but visually plainer than KaTeX HTML.
