Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

TooShort

The binary data is too short to be a valid text layer.

TextOverflow

A text length field points past the end of the data.

InvalidUtf8

The text bytes are not valid UTF-8.

No longer produced since #524: invalid bytes are decoded leniently (CP1252 fallback). Kept so matching code keeps compiling.

ZoneTruncated(usize)

A zone record is truncated (not enough bytes for a field).

UnknownZoneType(u8)

An unknown zone type byte was encountered.

ZoneTooDeep

The zone hierarchy nests deeper than MAX_ZONE_DEPTH (#589).
