Caller-supplied overrides. None means “decide for me”.

Fields

mode: Option<u32>

Permission bits; the file-type bits are the driver’s business.

uid: Option<u32>

gid: Option<u32>

unix_times: Option<UnixTimes>

Preserved Unix mtime/atime/ctime from the source (host file, tar Header, or source-image inode). Threaded through the shared importer so create_file records the source’s dates instead of stamping the current time. See crate::times::UnixTimes.
