JsonRpcResponse

Struct JsonRpcResponse

Source
pub struct JsonRpcResponse<R = Value> {
    pub jsonrpc: Version,
    pub id: RequestId,
    pub body: JsonRpcResponseBody<R>,
}
Expand description

A JSON-RPC 2.0 response envelope.

Exactly one of result or error is present — enforced structurally by the untagged JsonRpcResponseBody.

R is the method-specific result type; generic callers use serde_json::Value.

Fields§

§jsonrpc: Version

Protocol version; serializes to the literal "2.0".

§id: RequestId

Correlation id copied from the request.

§body: JsonRpcResponseBody<R>

Either result or error, never both, never neither.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<R> JsonRpcResponse<R>

Source

pub fn success(id: RequestId, result: R) -> Self

Build a success response echoing id.

Source

pub fn error(id: RequestId, error: RpcError) -> Self

Build an error response echoing id.

Source

pub fn as_error(&self) -> Option<&RpcError>

The error, if this is an error response.

Source

pub fn as_result(&self) -> Option<&R>

The result, if this is a success response.
