RawEncoder

Struct RawEncoder

Source
pub struct RawEncoder<W> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A write-only encoder that accepts pre-encoded bytes.

Created by Encoder::into_raw_encoder after the file header and any structured metadata have been written. Carries no schema registry, string pool, or timestamp state — it simply forwards bytes to the underlying writer while tracking the total byte count.

Implementations§

Source§

impl<W: Write> RawEncoder<W>

Source

pub fn write_raw(&mut self, bytes: &[u8]) -> Result<()>

Write pre-encoded bytes to the underlying writer.

Source

pub fn bytes_written(&self) -> u64

Total bytes written (including bytes written by the Encoder before conversion).

Source

pub fn flush(&mut self) -> Result<()>

Flush the underlying writer.

Source

pub fn into_inner(self) -> W

Consume the raw encoder and return the inner writer.
