Expand description

Registers one queue stream or reserved execution slot for a Worker process.

Fields§

§queue: String

Names this stream’s queue: app_worker_id or one declared flow_type. Workers declaring supports_reserved_slot_dispatch leave it empty; the stream serves its own sticky queue (app_worker_id) and every Flow type in flow_types. Dex rejects a reserved-slot registration with a non-empty queue with INVALID_ARGUMENT.

§app_worker_id: String

Identifies this Worker process across reconnects; a restart uses a new ID.

§flow_types: Vec<String>

Lists the Flow types this Worker can execute.

§sdk_name: String

Identifies the SDK implementation for diagnostics.

§sdk_version: String

Identifies the SDK release for diagnostics.

§supports_reserved_slot_dispatch: bool

When true, this stream is one reserved Worker execution slot, ready whenever idle. The Worker never rejects a task for capacity. It rejects only unknown Step types or RPC names. While stopping, it drops task frames without sending any frame for them. See the PollWorkerTask rpc. When false, the stream serves only the queue named in queue and may reject with NO_CAPACITY. Requires Server protocol version 4 or later.

§slot_kind: i32

Selects which tasks this slot accepts; unspecified means STEP_AND_RPC. Applies only to reserved-slot streams. Dex rejects a registration with INVALID_ARGUMENT when supports_reserved_slot_dispatch is false and slot_kind is not UNSPECIFIED. Requires Server protocol version 4 or later.
