Expand description

One managed file, or one profile’s part of it: what the profile wants, what devset recorded, what is on disk.

Fields§

§path: RelPath

The file.

§part: Option<Part>

The part of the file this entry is; None for the whole file.

§want: Option<Want>

What the profile provides; None once no layer provides it.

§record: Option<Fingerprint>

What devset last recorded.

§recorded: Option<Policy>

The policy it was recorded under; None without a record.

§found: Option<Fingerprint>

What is on disk: the file, or what it holds of the part.

§conflict: bool

Whether a conflicted merge of the file waits in .devset/conflicts/.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Entry

Source

pub fn action(&self, mode: Mode) -> Action

What committing does to this path under mode.

A needed merge is Action::Merge here; plan runs it, and may find a conflict.

Source§

impl Entry

Source

pub fn scope(&self) -> Scope

How much of the file this entry is.

Source

pub fn drift(&self) -> Option<Drift>

How the file compares with its record; None when there is no record.
