Variants

Idle

Never spawned or shut down cleanly. Next request triggers a fresh spawn.

Running

Subprocess is alive and ready.

Recovering

Subprocess died and we’re inside the restart window.

Disabled

Restart cap hit. The plugin is dormant until the user clears the failure count via doctor (or restarts the host).
