Pdm

Struct Pdm

Source
pub struct Pdm;
Expand description

PDM package manager adapter.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl PackageManager for Pdm

Source§

fn detect(&self, path: &Path) -> bool

The lockfile, or a pyproject.toml that names PDM as the build backend or carries PDM’s own settings table. A plain PEP 621 pyproject.toml belongs to whichever tool actually manages it, and is not claimed here.

Source§

fn enforce_lockfile(&self, path: &Path, policy: EnforcePolicy) -> Result<()>

pdm lock --check resolves pyproject.toml against pdm.lock and exits non-zero when they have drifted apart, without writing either file. Plain pdm lock is the write side.

Source§

fn name(&self) -> &'static str

Human-readable name for this adapter (e.g., “npm”, “pnpm”, “uv”).
Source§

fn bloat_dirs(&self, path: &Path) -> Vec<BloatDir>

List all bloat directories this adapter manages in the given project. Read more
Source§

fn restore(&self, path: &Path, timeout: Duration) -> Result<()>

Restore dependencies from the lockfile (for dev-prune restore). Read more
Source§

fn lockfiles(&self) -> &'static [&'static str]

The file this manager rebuilds its bloat directory from. Read more
Source§

fn restore_named( &self, project_path: &Path, dir_name: &str, runtime: Option<&str>, timeout: Duration, ) -> Result<()>

PackageManager::restore, told the name the pruned directory had. Read more
Source§

fn runtime_tag(&self, project_path: &Path, dir_name: &str) -> Option<String>

The language runtime a bloat directory is built against, recorded at prune time. Read more
Source§

fn drift(&self, project_path: &Path) -> Vec<DriftReport>

Installed-but-unrecorded packages, as data instead of a refusal. Read more
Source§

fn opt_in(&self) -> bool

Whether this adapter is inert until the user enables it in settings. Read more
