pub struct PlannedUpdate {
pub name: String,
pub normalized_name: String,
pub name_range: Range,
pub current: Option<ConcreteVersion>,
pub target: ConcreteVersion,
pub edit: ManifestEdit,
}Expand description
A manifest-edit plan with attribution — what makes ignore-rule/--package filtering
possible. The ls_types::TextEdit this generalizes discards everything but the edit
itself.
Fields§
§name: StringThe dependency’s declared (raw) name.
normalized_name: Stringcrate::lsp_helpers::PackageNaming::normalize_package_name’s output for name.
name_range: RangeThe dependency name’s span in the manifest source.
current: Option<ConcreteVersion>The version this dependency is currently pinned to, when it could be resolved (see
collect_update_edits’s doc for exactly how). None covers two distinct cases: a
genuinely unresolvable in-use version (collect_update_candidates) — a caller that
classifies it via classify_update gets UpdateKind::Unknown for this case, the
same as for any other string classify_update can’t parse as a leading dotted-numeric
version — and plan_verified_fix, which never attempts to resolve this field at all
and always leaves it None regardless of whether the in-use version is knowable.
target: ConcreteVersionThe version this edit would move the dependency to.
edit: ManifestEditThe edit itself.
