IgnoreRule

Struct IgnoreRule

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct IgnoreRule { pub name: String, pub update_types: Option<Vec<UpdateTypeToken>>, }
Expand description

One [update].ignore entry: a dependency name, optionally scoped to specific update kinds.

#[non_exhaustive]: constructed only via deserialization (a future field addition should not force every construction site to update).

§Examples

use deps_cli::config::IgnoreRule;

let rule: IgnoreRule = serde_json::from_str(r#"{"name": "tokio"}"#).unwrap();
assert_eq!(rule.name, "tokio");
assert_eq!(rule.update_types, None);

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§name: String

The dependency name this rule matches, after deps_core::lsp_helpers::PackageNaming::normalize_package_name is applied to both sides (FR-006).

§update_types: Option<Vec<UpdateTypeToken>>

The update kinds this rule matches. None matches every kind, including deps_core::edit::UpdateKind::Unknown; Some(kinds) matches the listed kinds and Unknown (fail-closed — FR-006: a rule that cannot confirm an update is below its stated threshold treats it as if it met the threshold).
