AtlasConfig

Struct AtlasConfig

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct AtlasConfig { pub page_size: u32, pub max_pages: u32, }
Expand description

Shape of the glyph atlas: square pages stacked vertically in one texture.

The atlas starts as one page and grows a page at a time, up to max_pages; growing never moves a glyph. Once at its limit, the least recently used glyphs are evicted.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§page_size: u32

Side of one page in texels; also the largest glyph the atlas holds.

§max_pages: u32

Pages the atlas may grow to.

Implementations§

Source§

impl AtlasConfig

Source

pub const DEFAULT: Self

1024 x 1024 pages, up to 4 (a 1024 x 4096 texture, 4 MiB).

Source

pub const fn new(page_size: u32, max_pages: u32) -> Self

max_pages pages of page_size x page_size texels.

Source

pub fn normalized(self) -> Self

The config clamped to what the cache supports: a page of 1 to 4096 texels, at least one page, and a texture no taller than 8192 texels.
