Enum VideoError

#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum VideoError { Open { path: PathBuf, source: Error, }, NothingPlayable, V4l2 { what: &'static str, source: Errno, }, UnsupportedFormat(u32), NoFrames, Drm { what: &'static str, source: Error, }, NoPlane, }
Expand description

Video errors: enumeration, negotiation, streaming, scanout.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Open

A device node would not open.

Fields

§path: PathBuf

The node that failed.

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

NothingPlayable

No decoder on this board accepts any of the offered assets.

The menu is two codecs wide precisely so this stays unreachable on a Raspberry Pi — a kiosk that ships both files always has a playable one.

§

V4l2

An ioctl against the decoder failed.

Fields

§what: &'static str

Which call.

§source: Errno

The errno.

§

UnsupportedFormat(u32)

The decoder produced a frame format the plane path does not handle.

§

NoFrames

The stream never yielded a decodable picture.

§

Drm

A DRM call on the plane path failed.

Fields

§what: &'static str

Which call.

§source: Error

The underlying error.

§

NoPlane

No video plane on the CRTC supports the decoder’s output format.
