Variants

Place(NodeId)

The named place — its piece once bound, its stand-in while not.

Ground

The ring’s fixed ground (rule 0): the whole’s terrain, written by no piece.

Nobody

Nobody (rule 4): what a volume declares there, else the site’s fill.

Contested(Vec<NodeId>)

Two or more places claim the cell and no rule awards it (rule 3d) — a plan DW0827 refuses. Named so that a refused plan still answers.
