A long-running walk’s live progress, delivered to a caller-installed observation hook (BundledSearch::with_progress) on the heartbeat checkpoint. A pure snapshot: reading it never perturbs the enumeration.

Fields

elapsed: Duration

Wall clock since the search’s first advance.

paths_yielded: u64

Completed paths yielded so far.

advances_since_yield: u64

Stack-frame advances since the most recent yield: a large value with a small paths_yielded is the no-yield straggler shape.

max_stack_depth: usize

Peak DFS stack depth observed — distinguishes “stuck shallow” from “grinding deep” on a real run.
