MediaEngine

Struct MediaEngine

Source
pub struct MediaEngine;
Expand description

The ffmpeg engine for video and audio.

Implementations§

Source§

impl MediaEngine

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Source

pub fn run_with_progress( &self, plan: &EncodePlan, on_progress: &mut dyn FnMut(PassKind, f64), ) -> Result<Outcome, EngineError>

Like Engine::run but reports progress: on_progress(pass, fraction) is called with fraction in 0.0..=1.0 as each pass proceeds.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl Clone for MediaEngine

Source§

fn clone(&self) -> MediaEngine

Returns a duplicate of the value. Read more
1.0.0 (const: unstable) · Source§

fn clone_from(&mut self, source: &Self)

Performs copy-assignment from source. Read more

impl Copy for MediaEngine

Source§

impl Debug for MediaEngine

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
Source§

impl Default for MediaEngine

Source§

fn default() -> MediaEngine

Returns the “default value” for a type. Read more
Source§

impl Engine for MediaEngine

Source§

fn supports(&self, input: &Path) -> bool

Whether this engine handles the given file.
Source§

fn probe(&self, input: &Path) -> Result<MediaInfo, EngineError>

Read metadata (side effect: run a probe, e.g. ffprobe).
Source§

fn plan( &self, info: &MediaInfo, opts: &ShrinkOpts, ) -> Result<EncodePlan, EngineError>

Build the encode plan. Pure function — tested without encoding.
Source§

fn run(&self, plan: &EncodePlan) -> Result<Outcome, EngineError>

Execute the plan (side effect: run the encoder binary).
