Fields§

§para: usize§start: usize

Character range [start, end) in the paragraph (end excludes the line’s break/newline).

§end: usize§top: f64§baseline: f64§bottom: f64§caret_x: Vec<f64>

Caret x for each character boundary start..=end (len = end - start + 1), downstream: the leading edge of the character after the boundary (its right edge if it is right-to-left); the last entry is the trailing edge of the line’s last character.

§column: usize

Column index (multi-column bodies).

§rtl: bool

Right-to-left paragraph.

§levels: Vec<u8>

Bidi level of each character start..end after rule L1 (odd = right-to-left).

§edges: Vec<(f64, f64)>

Visual box (left, right) of each character start..end. Characters inside a grapheme have empty boxes; a ligature’s characters share its width (GDEF ligature carets).

§boundary: Vec<bool>

Whether a caret may stand before each character start..end (grapheme boundaries).

§extent: (f64, f64)

Visual extent (left, right) of the line’s text.

§start_offset: f64

Distance from the paragraph’s start edge to the line’s text (indent, margin, bullet).

Implementations§

Source§

impl LineInfo

Source

pub fn spans(&self, from: usize, to: usize) -> Vec<(f64, f64)>

Visual x intervals covering paragraph characters from..to on this line, left to right and merged where they touch. Bidi text can make a logical range several boxes.

Source

pub fn span(&self, from: usize, to: usize) -> Option<(f64, f64)>

Horizontal extent of paragraph characters from..to on this line.
