Parse the trailing ProbeResponseExt bytes returned as the remainder by crate::decode_message after a ProbeMessage::Response.

An empty remainder ⇒ ProbeResponseExt::default (no size hint). Trailing bytes beyond the known fields are tolerated for forward compatibility (ADR 013 §Tier 1): a future optional field appended to ProbeResponseExt is read by new receivers and skipped by old ones.

Errors

Returns a postcard::Error if a non-empty remainder is not a valid ProbeResponseExt prefix.
