ClientProtocol

Struct ClientProtocol

Source
pub struct ClientProtocol(/* private fields */);
Expand description

Router-facing ProtocolHandler for cdn/client/v1.

Wraps the shared Arc<ClientHandler> so the serve loop can hand every per-stream task a 'static clone of the handler and tokio::spawn it (#1788). The iroh ProtocolHandler::accept signature borrows &self, so the handler itself cannot spawn tasks that outlive the borrow; owning the Arc here and cloning it into ClientHandler::serve bridges that gap. The wrapper is cheap to clone (one Arc bump) and the router holds one for the process lifetime.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ClientProtocol

Source

pub const ALPN: &'static [u8] = ALPN_CLIENT

The cdn/client/v1 ALPN this handler answers.

Source

pub const fn new(handler: Arc<ClientHandler>) -> Self

Wrap a shared handler for registration on the iroh Router.
