#[non_exhaustive]pub enum DeadlineError {
ZeroBudget,
CapCannotOutlastItsStages {
open: Duration,
window: Duration,
hard_cap: Duration,
},
}Expand description
A PullDeadlines whose bounds cannot do their job. Carries the values so a CLI
can render the arithmetic back to the user rather than just saying “invalid”.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
ZeroBudget
A zero budget elapses on its first poll, so the stage it bounds can never run.
CapCannotOutlastItsStages
The cap does not outlast open + window, so it always fires first and the
throughput floor — the signal that a healthy stream is still making progress —
can never fire.
