The blocking pool (docs/async.md): spawn_blocking runs a job on a worker thread and resolves on the awaiting side; std-only, so it lives in day-async and is re-exported here. Why a Blocking future resolved without its job’s value.

Panicked

The job panicked. The panic went to the panic hook like any other; the pool thread that ran it carries on with the next job.

Closed

The job never ran: the pool could not start its first thread.
