Struct Declaration

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub struct Declaration { pub licence: String, pub valid_from: String, pub valid_to: Option<String>, }
Expand description

One dated entry of a publisher’s declarations (9.2, spec-0.4.3): its function may be computed over inputs under licence while the entry is open, the result carrying that licence (8.5). Entries are dated as keys are, and never removed, only closed.

Fields (Non-exhaustive)§

This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.
§licence: String

The declared licence, by the grammar and limits of 8.1, compared byte for byte.

§valid_from: String

Start of the entry’s window (inclusive), an instant.

§valid_to: Option<String>

End of the window (exclusive), later than valid_from; None is open-ended.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Declaration

Source

pub fn new( licence: &str, valid_from: &str, valid_to: Option<&str>, ) -> Result<Declaration>

An entry, checked as 9.2 checks one in a key document: licence by 8.1, valid_from an instant, valid_to an instant later than it. Every failure is E_KEY_DOC.

Source

pub fn open_at(&self, issued: &str) -> bool

Whether the entry is open at issued: valid_from <= issued, and issued < valid_to when valid_to is present (the window of a key, 9.5).
