When a version of a stored cell answers as of a time A, for a resolver declared time-aware (Kit::time_aware). Set with Kit::answer_rule; the default is TxAndAsof. Among the versions that answer, the one with the latest tx gives the value; when none does, evaluate gives None.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

TxAndAsof

A version answers as of A when its tx <= A and its receipt’s asof <= A: an ok response to a request as of A carries a receipt with an asof at or before A (SPEC 5.5 step 5, D31 revised), so a version does not answer before it was known.

TxOnly

A version answers as of A when its tx <= A, whatever its receipt’s asof: the kit’s rule before 0.3.3.
