A single item selected into the audit sample (key item or representative).

Fields

item_id: String

Reference ID — links to JE document_id, subledger record, etc.

sampling_plan_id: String

FK → SamplingPlan.id — the plan this item belongs to.

amount: Decimal

Monetary amount of the item.

selection_type: SelectionType

How the item was selected into the sample.

key_item_reason: Option<KeyItemReason>

Why this item was selected as a key item — populated only when selection_type == SelectionType::KeyItem, so SDK consumers don’t need to cross-reference SamplingPlan.key_items[] to find out why. None for representative-sample rows.

tested: bool

Whether the auditor has completed testing on this item.

misstatement_found: bool

Whether a misstatement was found during testing.

misstatement_amount: Option<Decimal>

Monetary amount of any misstatement identified (None if none found).
