Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Pass

Every requirement was evaluated and met.

Fail

At least one requirement was conclusively violated.

Inconclusive

Nothing was violated, and at least one requirement could not be evaluated. Not a pass: the gate has no answer, not a positive one.
