#[non_exhaustive]pub struct Diagnostic {
pub code: DiagnosticCode,
pub column: String,
pub data_type: Option<Sides<DataType>>,
pub setting: Option<SettingDifference>,
pub message: String,
}Expand description
A schema change between the baseline and the report.
A warning, not a fourth verdict: it is reported whatever the policy states, and no rule decides on it. A requirement that would fail on it is a policy entry of its own.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.code: DiagnosticCodeWhat changed.
column: StringThe column it changed in.
data_type: Option<Sides<DataType>>The inferred type on each side, a being the baseline. Present on
DiagnosticCode::ColumnTypeChanged only.
setting: Option<SettingDifference>A recorded setting that can produce the change on unchanged data, when one can. Serialized flat, as a check’s reason is.
message: StringA fixed sentence naming the change, free of numbers and names, like a check’s message.
