#[non_exhaustive]pub struct ParseOptions {
pub compat: bool,
}Expand description
How parse reads a definition.
Fields (Non-exhaustive)§
This struct is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive structs could have additional fields added in future. Therefore, non-exhaustive structs cannot be constructed in external crates using the traditional
Struct { .. } syntax; cannot be matched against without a wildcard ..; and struct update syntax will not work.compat: boolWhether the compat reader runs. With it on (the default), each v3
spelling is rewritten and reported as a V3_SPELLING (see
compat), and an unknown key takes its default
severity and moves into the owning node’s ext.
With it off, nothing is rewritten and nothing moves. Every unknown key
is Rejected, and so are the v3 keys of a workflow, a task and a group
(continue_on_error, halt_on), which are unknown keys to v4. The
v3 spellings inside a task’s function are not parse’s to refuse:
validate stays the function’s name, and a key a built-in’s input
does not know stays in its input, for the
function’s lookup and config to refuse when the workflow is compiled.
