Classifies a validated read-only statement for pagination dispatch.

Variants

Select

SELECT, WITH ... SELECT, or compound queries (UNION/INTERSECT/EXCEPT). Composable inside a subquery wrap with an appended LIMIT / OFFSET.

NonSelect

SHOW, DESC / DESCRIBE, USE, or EXPLAIN — read-only but not composable as a subquery source. Returned in a single response.
