Drops envelopes that do not match a predicate.

The predicate is a small expression language evaluated against each envelope. Supported constructs:

  • Field paths: payload.userId, meta.headers.priority, meta.key
  • Literals: strings ("high"), numbers (42, 3.14), booleans (true, false), null
  • Comparison: ==, !=, <, <=, >, >=
  • Logical: && (and), || (or), ! (not)
  • Grouping: (expr)
  • Existence: exists payload.userId

Examples:

  • meta.headers.priority == "high"
  • payload.userId == 1
  • payload.score > 0.5 && meta.headers.env == "prod"
  • !exists payload.optionalField || payload.optionalField == null
