pub fn compile(graph: &MaterialGraph) -> Result<CompiledMaterial, MaterialError>

Compile a material graph into a WGSL function.

The emitted function has the signature:

fn material_<id>(in: VertexOutput, col: vec4<f32>) -> vec4<f32>

where in provides UV/position/size/etc. from the vertex output, and col is the base vertex color.
