A 15-bit Reed-Solomon correction count decoded from RS_Correction_L/H (0x59/0x5A).

The high byte’s bit 7 is the validity flag consumed by Scdc::read_rs_correction; the counter occupies bits[14:0]. Values are always ≤ 0x7FFF.
