FrlRate

Enum FrlRate

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
#[repr(u8)]
pub enum FrlRate { NotSupported = 0, Rate3Gbps3Lanes = 1, Rate6Gbps3Lanes = 2, Rate6Gbps4Lanes = 3, Rate8Gbps4Lanes = 4, Rate10Gbps4Lanes = 5, Rate12Gbps4Lanes = 6, }
Expand description

Maximum Fixed Rate Link (FRL) bandwidth supported by a HDMI 2.1 sink.

Variants are assigned the Max_FRL_Rate nibble values from the HDMI 2.1a spec directly. The discriminants establish the ordering: higher value = greater bandwidth.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

NotSupported = 0

FRL not supported; TMDS only.

§

Rate3Gbps3Lanes = 1

Up to 3 Gbps/lane on 3 lanes (≈ 9 Gbps total).

§

Rate6Gbps3Lanes = 2

Up to 6 Gbps/lane on 3 lanes (≈ 18 Gbps).

§

Rate6Gbps4Lanes = 3

Up to 6 Gbps/lane on 4 lanes (≈ 24 Gbps).

§

Rate8Gbps4Lanes = 4

Up to 8 Gbps/lane on 4 lanes (≈ 32 Gbps).

§

Rate10Gbps4Lanes = 5

Up to 10 Gbps/lane on 4 lanes (≈ 40 Gbps).

§

Rate12Gbps4Lanes = 6

Up to 12 Gbps/lane on 4 lanes (≈ 48 Gbps).
