pub struct HostCopies;Expand description
Copies between the allocations of a BytesStorage: host memory, so a
copy is a memcpy and has landed by the time it returns.
Waits on nothing: whoever runs work against the memory waits for it before handing the relocation over.
Trait Implementations§
Source§impl CopyQueue<BytesStorage> for HostCopies
Available on crate feature storage-bytes only.
impl CopyQueue<BytesStorage> for HostCopies
Available on crate feature
storage-bytes only.Source§fn wait_device(&mut self) -> Result<(), ServerError>
fn wait_device(&mut self) -> Result<(), ServerError>
Wait until the device is done with everything that could still touch
the allocations about to move: every stream, and whatever the driver
runs outside them. Read more

&mut self,
storage: &mut BytesStorage,
copy: &StorageCopy,
) -> Result<(), IoError>
fn copy( &mut self, storage: &mut BytesStorage, copy: &StorageCopy, ) -> Result<(), IoError>
Add copying
copy.source’s bytes into copy.target to the batch
wait_copies lands. A queue may hold it until
then, so one relocation is one submission however many copies it
makes. Read moreSource§fn wait_copies(&mut self) -> Result<(), ServerError>
fn wait_copies(&mut self) -> Result<(), ServerError>
Submit the copies added so far, if the queue held them, and wait until
they have landed. Read more
