pub enum ClientGroupError {
Empty,
BlockingDeviceHandle,
MixedRuntimes,
NoDeviceTransport {
runtime: &'static str,
},
NotAscending {
devices: Vec<DeviceId>,
},
}Expand description
Why clients cannot form a ClientGroup.
Variants§
Empty
There are no clients.
BlockingDeviceHandle
The device handle blocks the caller, which collectives cannot run on.
MixedRuntimes
The clients run different runtimes, which share no transport.
NoDeviceTransport
The runtime has no transport between its devices.
NotAscending
The devices are not in strictly ascending order, so a member would not be its rank, or a device would hold two ranks.
