Variants

Warn

Log a warning and fall back to default scheduling. This keeps unprivileged dev/laptop runs working out of the box.

Strict

Hard-fail at startup if the requested affinity/scheduler cannot be applied. Use this for deployed real-time robots that must fail loudly.
