Expand description

Complete engine configuration.

Fields§

§pools: Vec<PoolConfig>

Worker pools (at least one; the first is the default).

§resources: Vec<ResourceConfig>

Shared resources.

§priority: PriorityConfig

Class scores and aging.

§urgency: UrgencyConfig

Deadline urgency curve.

§global_bounds: Bounds

Queue bounds across all pools.

§retention: Duration

How long terminal statuses are remembered (for late dependents and lookups).

§retention_max: usize

Maximum number of remembered terminal statuses.

§persist: bool

Emit Action::Persist mutations.

§epoch_unix_nanos: i64

Unix time (ns) corresponding to Time::ZERO; used for cron schedules.

§id_epoch: u16

High bits mixed into task and lease ids (leader epoch in HA mode), so ids issued by different leaders never collide.

§id_shard: Option<u8>

Shard number, for servers that split pools between shards. When set, task ids carry it in their top 8 bits (shard << 56, with the epoch and a sequence below it), so ids of different shards never collide and name their shard (TaskId::shard).

§metrics_window: Duration

Window for snapshot metrics.

§seed: u64

Seed for retry jitter.

Implementations§

Source§

impl CoreConfig

Source

pub fn validate(&self) -> Result<(), String>

Check the configuration for errors that Core::new would otherwise reject with a panic (structural problems) or silently clamp (out-of-range numbers).
