Expand description

A dispute against one payment (issue #602’s shape). payment_ref is the id RefundRequest::payment_ref takes for the same provider (a Stripe payment-intent, a Polar order), so a venture can tie the dispute to what it sold; charge_ref is the provider’s underlying charge or payment id.

Fields§

§id: String§charge_ref: Option<String>§payment_ref: String§customer_ref: Option<String>

The customer charged, named the way the adapter is configured to name customers (a provider id, or the venture’s own id where the adapter maps it), when the provider reports one.

§amount: Money

The disputed amount.

§reason: Option<String>

The card network’s reason (fraudulent, product_not_received, …), once the provider reports it.

§status: DisputeStatus§provider_status: String

The provider’s status string, verbatim.

§evidence_due_by: Option<OffsetDateTime>

The evidence deadline, when a response is wanted.

§is_charge_refundable: Option<bool>

Whether the disputed charge can still be refunded, when the provider says (Stripe does; Polar does not).

§balance_transactions: Vec<String>

The provider’s balance-transaction ids for the dispute, where it exposes them (Stripe); empty otherwise.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Dispute

Source

pub fn event_key(&self) -> String

The dedup key for “this dispute reached this status”. Claim it through the Inbox and each transition is acted on once, whether it arrived by webhook, by a poll of Payments::list_disputes, or both.
