Options accepted by Runtime::exec_pty.

Mirrors the union of fields exposed by Docker’s POST /containers/{id}/exec (ExecConfig) so the daemon can pass them through with minimal translation. Unlike Runtime::exec / Runtime::exec_stream (which capture stdout and stderr separately and return only after the process exits), exec_pty is the interactive entry point: it allocates a PTY when tty is set, streams I/O bidirectionally over a single duplex byte stream, and returns an ExecHandle that the caller drives concurrently with the running process.

Fields

command: Vec<String>

The argv vector for the exec’d process (command[0] is the binary).

env: Vec<String>

Extra environment variables, in KEY=VALUE form. Merged into the container’s existing env on the runtime side.

working_dir: Option<String>

Optional working directory inside the container. None keeps the container’s default WORKDIR.

user: Option<String>

Optional user[:group] override. None keeps the container’s configured user.

privileged: bool

Run the exec with privileged capabilities (Docker Privileged).

tty: bool

Allocate a TTY for the exec’d process (Docker Tty). When true, the runtime should set up a pseudo-terminal pair and the duplex stream on the returned ExecHandle carries multiplexed PTY traffic; when false, the stream carries raw stdout/stderr without PTY framing.

attach_stdin: bool

Attach stdin so the caller can write to the process (Docker AttachStdin). When false, the writable half of the duplex stream is effectively a no-op.

attach_stdout: bool

Attach stdout so the caller receives the process’s stdout on the readable half of the duplex stream (Docker AttachStdout).

attach_stderr: bool

Attach stderr so the caller receives the process’s stderr on the readable half of the duplex stream (Docker AttachStderr).
