Map

Struct Map

Source
pub struct Map { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Keys are shared: a decoded document allocates each distinct key once, however many maps have it.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Map

Source

pub fn new() -> Map

An empty map.

Source

pub fn with_capacity(n: usize) -> Map

An empty map with room for n entries.

Source

pub fn get(&self, key: &str) -> Option<&Value>

The value of key.

Source

pub fn get_mut(&mut self, key: &str) -> Option<&mut Value>

The value of key, to change.

Source

pub fn value_at(&self, i: usize) -> Option<&Value>

The value of the i-th entry.

Source

pub fn index_of(&self, key: &str) -> Option<usize>

The position of key among the entries.

Source

pub fn insert(&mut self, key: impl Into<String>, value: Value) -> Option<Value>

Sets key, in place if it’s there, else at the end; returns the old value.

Source

pub fn remove(&mut self, key: &str) -> Option<Value>

Takes key’s entry out: its value, the others keeping their order.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

How many entries.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether it has no entries.

Source

pub fn iter(&self) -> impl ExactSizeIterator

The entries, in order.

Source

pub fn keys(&self) -> impl ExactSizeIterator

The keys, in order.

Source

pub fn values(&self) -> impl ExactSizeIterator

The values, in order.

Source

pub fn retain(&mut self, keep: impl FnMut(&str, &Value) -> bool)

Keeps the entries keep says to, in one pass; the index made again when it’s next needed.
